Terms and conditions of sale

1. Subject

These General Terms and Conditions of Sale govern the terms and conditions for booking, occupancy and cancellation of stays at the Torra di l'AlbaThis rental house is located in Viggianello (Corsica).

2. Reservations

Any booking request made via the website or by any other means does not constitute an automatic confirmation. The owner reserves the right to accept or refuse any request, without having to justify the reasons.

3. Capacity and use

The house is reserved strictly for private and family use. Any subletting, organisation of events or commercial use is strictly forbidden without the owner's prior agreement.

4. Accessibility

Because of the layout of the site, with several staircases spread over different levels, unfortunately, the house is not suitable for people with reduced mobility. It is the tenant's responsibility to ensure that access conditions are suitable for all occupants.

5. Changing or cancelling a holiday

The owner reserves the right to terminate a rental in progress or to cancel a confirmed stay in the event of :

  • failure to comply with the house rules or the number of people allowed,
  • behaviour that is detrimental to the smooth running of the holiday or to the neighbourhood,
  • force majeure or physical impossibility of providing a welcome in good conditions.

In such cases, a partial or full refund may be offered at the owner's discretion, without additional compensation.

6. Security deposit and inventory of fixtures

A security deposit may be required before you move in. An inventory of fixtures may be drawn up on arrival and departure. Any damage found may result in partial or total deduction of the deposit.

7. Liability

The owner declines all responsibility in the event of theft, loss or damage to the tenants' belongings, as well as in the event of accidents occurring in the house or its surroundings, except in the event of proven fault on his part.

8. Applicable law

These GCS are governed by French law. In the event of a dispute, an attempt at amicable resolution will be preferred. Failing this, the competent court will be that of the location of the property.
