La Torra di l'Alba was one of those refuge houses that can still be found here and there in inland villages. Standing on a promontory, it offered an unobstructed view over the valley and the sea, allowing us to anticipate any danger.

But behind these sturdy walls, life was in full swing. Cooking on an open fire, family evenings together, stories told by the fireside... The story of this house is the story of whole generationsrooted in their land, looking to the future without ever forgetting where they come from.
